VALENCIA City Bukidnon-SSCR stakes its unbeaten record when it faces winless SMDC-NU in the 2019 PBA D-League on Monday at Paco Arena in Manila.
The Golden Harvest have been nothing short of impressive in their campaign in the developmental ranks in their first two games, and that only brings a smile to the face of coach Egay Macaraya.
One thing working for them is their defense, being one of the top rebounding teams at 53 boards per game, while also only allowing 78.5 points per outing.
"When everybody is playing defense, ang ganda ng takbo namin. Everybody is sharing the ball. Hopefully, matuloy-tuloy na namin," said Macaraya.
The offense has also been a beauty with Allyn Bulanadi and RK Ilagan leading the way in Valencia-SSCR's 75-53 rout of Chadao-FEU last Feb. 25.

But standing in its way is a desperate SMDC-NU squad which have yet to crack a win in two games.
Bulldogs coach Jamike Jarin has been hard-pressed for answers especially after their humiliating 86-71 loss to Marinerong Pilipino last Feb. 26.
Dave Ildefonso, John Lloyd Clemente, and Issa Gaye will all need to get their acts together to pull off an upset in the 2 p.m. Foundation Group duel.
