DEFENDING back-to-back champion EcoOil-La Salle goes for win number four and an outright semifinal berth in the 2024 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Green Archers share the top spot with Marinerong Pilipino-San Beda at 3-0 and could clinch top seeding with a win against Keanzel Basketball (0-3) in the main game at 7:30 p.m.
La Salle is heavily favored in the match but EcoOil-La Salle assistant coach Caloy Garcia cautioned his troops from being overconfident.
"When we join leagues, we always prepare for every game. It does not matter who you play. 'Yun ang sinasabi sa amin lagi ni coach Topex (Robinson), prepare for every game. Matagal pa ito, we have more games and you're starting to look out for other teams," he said.
The three-peat, the Green Archers so far have no trouble dispatching their opponents, winning by an average margin of 32.3 points.
