Abdullah Cup: Gilas too much against Jordan-B

GILAS Pilipinas' shooting just won't cool down.

It was Dwight Ramos' turn to wax hot for the national men's team as the Fil-Am guard nailed seven three pointers in a 90-63 beat down of Jordan-B to win for a second straight time in the King Abdullah Cup at the Prince Hamza Hall in Amman, Jordan.

Ramos ended up finishing with a game-high 21 points as Gilas continues to display its torrid outside shooting just a day after downing Saudi Arabia, 77-62.

Justine Baltazar, hero of the win over the Saudi Arabians, kept on sizzling as well, hitting three from beyond the arc for 13 points, while 2020 PBA special draftee Jordan Heading added 11 built on the same number of 3s.

In all, the Filipinos shot a high 44 percent from deep that allowed them to enjoy as much as a 90-59 lead.
