BARANGAY Ginebra and Terrafirma punched their way to the semifinals of the 2023 Batang PBA 12-Under division with lopsided victories Wednesday at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.
The Batang Gin Kings stayed unbeaten in Group B by making short work of second-seed Cavitex, 100-64, Group A second-seed 2 Terrafirma stunned erstwhile unbeaten and Group B leader PBA Greats, 68-49, in the quarterfinals.
Sebastian Pio Banate showed the way for Ginebra with 18 points while Simon Jacob Jazul and Mateo Dominic Ngo added 11 points each.
Zion Carlo Aguilar, Richmond Marcus Gonzales and Elvin Pascual chipped in 10 points each for the Batang Gin Kings.
Andres Miguel Domingo fired 10 points while Jor-El Zach Pascual and Eiyan Sobrepe?a had nine each to power the Batang Dyip to a stunning win over the PBA Greats, who swept Group B with a pristine 4-0 slate.

In the 14-Under division, unbeaten Group A pacer NLEX clobbered Group B second placer Rain or Shine, 67-39 and Purefoods, which finished second in Group A, pulled off an 88-48 upset over the mighty San Miguel Beer, the Group B topnotcher in the elims with a perfect 4-0 card.
Jared Gabriel Ferreros carded 15 points and Marivic Ryence Mesina added 12 for NLEX, which kept its unblemished record entering the semis.
Purefoods, meanwhile, leaned on Ziv Gabriel Espinas, Jose Enrico Santos and Aiori Jared Aquino to beat SMB.
Purefoods and NLEX joined Cavitex and Red President in the 14-Under semis while two more semifinals seats are still up for grabs in the 12-Under play.
Unbeaten Sista and Meralco shoot for the coveted spots against Blackwated Red President and Talk 'N Text respectively on Thursday at the same venue. (JBU)
