MERALCO and NLEX continued their perfect runs in the 2023 Batang PBA Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena.
Isaac Miguel Purugganan scored 14 points as the Batang Meralco Bolts trounced the Batang Phoenix Fuel Masters, 67-41 while Lino Tubongbanua Jr also tallied 14 to lead the Batang Road Warriors to a 69-65 comeback win against the NorthPort Batang Pier.
Meralco stayed unbeaten in Group D of the 12-Under division with its third consecutive victory play, the same record held by NLEX in Group A of the 14-Under division.
Phoenix and Northport fell to 1-2 and 1-3 in their respective pools.
In other 12-Under matches, Converge slipped past Northport, 65-57, while Magnolia trampled PBA Stalwarts, 55-26.

Son Yu Caperos sizzled with 27 points for the Batang FiberXers, who notched their second straight win in Group D for a 2-1 mark.
The Batang Hotshots relied on the 10 points of Rashad Jamir Bautista to notch their first win in three matches in Group B.
