Batang PBA: TNT pummels Phoenix, tops group via 4-game sweep
Playoff-bound Talk 'N Text drubbed Phoenix 108-59, to complete a sweep in the 2023 Batang PBA Friday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
James Antonio Teodoro scored 17 points to lead six players in double digits as the Batang Tropang Giga finished the eliminations without a loss in four game Group C of the 14-Under division.
TNT also got excellent performance from Juaquin Alfonso Gallardo (11), Mark John Belmonte (10), Pio Lorenzo Gonzales (10), Maxwell Ethan Train (10) and Liam Riley Macapagal (10) in the 49-point win.

Phoenix finished with a 1-3 record and bowed out of the competition.
Converge clinched the other playoff berth in Group C following its 66-58 rout of Sista last Wednesday. The Batang FiberXers finished with a 3-1 card.
Sista blasted Magnolia, 58-51, In the other Group C match behind the 13 points of Earl Samuel Getalado to finish its campaign with a 2-2 record.
The Batang Hotshots wrapped up their schedule without a win to show in four games.
In the other 14-Under game, Purefoods kept is quarterfinal hopes alive with a convincing 89-57 win over the listless Terrafirma.

Zane Xavier Kallos and Aiori Jared Aquino Jr cashed in 14 points apiece as the Batang TJ Titans improved to 3-1 in Group A. The Batang Dyip finished winless at 0-4.
