Bolts, Tropang Giga returning to Laoag; Batang Pier eye QC outdoor training

THE Meralco Bolts and the TNT Tropang Giga are to return to Ilocos Norte for the continuation of their training while the NorthPort Batang Pier are looking for outdoor workouts in Greenmeadows in addition to their regular sessions in Batangas.

The rest of the PBA ball clubs have resumed their out-of-town training as they remain barred from doing indoor team activities in the NCR Plus area under its current quarantine status.

All teams are at work, sweating it out in preparation for the eyed PBA Season 46 opener late this month or early next month.

Done with their initial two-week training in Laoag in May, the Bolts and the Tropang Giga are coming back to resume workouts at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena since Metro Manila venues are still locked for indoor team activities.

"Humingi na sila ng endorsement from the Commissioner's Office," said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, referring to the letter of endorsement to be sent to the Ilocos local government unit.
