Coach Tim Cone on undermanned roster: "We'll go to war with the guys we have."

TIM Cone is ready to do battle regardless of the personnel he has at Barangay Ginebra.
As injuries keep piling for the defending PBA Governors Cup champion, Cone said the Kings couldn't just sit down and ponder on the 'what ifs,' as they need to move forward and fight on behind the healthy warriors that they have.
"We'll play with who we have, we'll go to war with the guys we have," said the Ginebra coach after the team absorbed its first loss in the conference, a 124-118 overtime setback against Blackwater Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
A total of seven players are currently on Ginebra's injury list including key players Greg Slaughters, Japeth Aguilar, and Sol Mercado.
Good thing, Joe Devance, who missed the team's first three games, finally made it back to the active roster in time for the Blackwater game.
Although it's definitely a concern, Cone said the Kings couldn't do anything about it but to face reality.
"The guys that we don't have they're out of our minds right now. We're not thinking about them," he said.
"We're not saying sayang, we had this guy, that guy. We'll go to war with who we have and we're happy with that."
The Kings will have the same active roster they had against San Miguel when they face the Beermen Sunday in the first match up between the two teams that tangled in the last Commissioner's Cup finals.
"I never went through this in my 30 years of coaching, this many guys injured at one time," said Cone.
