Pasaol eager to play against Santillan

PEERS for the past two years, Alvin Pasaol is looking forward to being on the opposing side with his fellow draft entrant Santi Santillan.

"Mas excited ako makalaban si Santi sa kanya-kanya naming team sa PBA," he said.

The two are almost joined to the hip ever since they bid their collegiate squads goodbye.

Pasaol and Santillan were brothers in arms during their stints with Marinerong Pilipino in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup. They also played side by side for Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

To top it all, the duo formed a lethal partnership in the 3x3 circuit that landed them in the Fiba 3x3 World Tour.

Nevertheless, the 6-foot-2 Davaoeno is just glad to take this next step with Santillan.

"Sobrang excited kaming dalawa dahil matutupad na ang pangarap namin at pangarap ng mga family at supporters namin na ma-draft at makapaglaro sa PBA," said the University of the East product.

Pasaol he's ready to take on a new challenge should he makes it to the pro league.

"Lahat naman excited akong makalaban kasi lahat naman ng nakaabot sa PBA, magagaling na," the 25-year-old said.
