PBA D-League: La Salle seeks passage to Final Four

ECOOil-La Salle guns for a semifinal berth when it battles also-ran AMA Online Thursday in the 2023 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The reigning champs who are behind leader Marinerong Pilipino-San Beda (4-1), look to clinch win number four in its 4p.m. encounter against the Titans to bolster its bid of finishing in the Top 2 at the end of the eliminations round.

At 0-5 (win-loss) card, AMA Online is already eliminated form the playoff race but but remains determined to win its last game for a respectable finish to its campaign.

The Top Two teams at the end of the elimination round earn outright spot in the semis while the third and fourth seed teams will enjoy a twice to beat advantage against the fifth and sixth seed team in the quarterfinals.

"We can't play relaxed," said La Salle deputy coach Gian Nazario, entrusted by head coach Topex Robinson to call the shots until the end of the team's D-League campaign.
