PBA stars band together to inspire

PBA stars are used to dancing, showing their moves after the call-out during the All-Star Game.

Belting out a collaborative song is something new they have done as their share to lift up the spirit of the people, especially those in the frontline in a fight against a deadly disease.

They sang "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson, with LA Tenorio - on his handle @latenorioofficial - posting it on social media through PBA commissioner Willie Marcial.

Banding together for this gig were Tenorio, Paul Lee, Marc Pingris, Scottie Thompson, Jimmy Alapag, Gabe Norwood, Jayson Castro, Japeth Aguilar, Mark Caguioa, Jayjay Helterbrand, James Yap, Beau Belga, Kiefer Ravena and June Mar Fajardo.

It's a "Gal Gadot" inspired version of the song to inspire everyone who are tirelessly and wholeheartedly giving what they can to help in this trying time.

Tenorio provided the opening messages and belted out the opening line in the song.

Fajardo had the last line: "Make it a better place for you and for me," then there's their challenge to the people "LABAN kababayan; LABAN buong mundo. Lalaban Tayo, Laban Pilipino!"

To start, Tenorio expressed his gratitude to the generous people who have extended help. The Ginebra chief playmaker also called on the people to heed the call of the government on what to do in this community quarantine. (SB)
