Rosser gets wish to play under Chot

A chance to play under coach Chot Reyes in the PBA.

Plain and simple, that's the rationale behind the decision of Matt Ganuelas Rosser to take his act to TNT Tropang Giga from Terrafirma.

The 31-year-old wingman hasn't been able to play under Reyes except for his time with Gilas Pilipinas early in his career here.

It was the 58-year-old Reyes who tapped his services for the national team beginning in the 2012 Jones Cup.

"He joined TNT kasi he wanted to play under (coach) Chot, who got him when he first came over to the Philippines to play for Gilas," said agent Charlie Dy in the sports program Power & Play hosted by former PBA commissioner Noli Eala on Saturday.

Ganuelas-Rosser earlier declined the two-year offer of mother team Terrafirma and test his value on the market as an unrestricted free agent.

The 6-foot-4 Ganuelas-Rosser was picked no. 4 overall in the 2014 draft by NLEX. (RG)
