TnT ships Mike Digregorio to Alaska for Simon Enciso

TNT KaTropa and Alaska Aces kicked off their respective preparations for the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup by swapping Fil-foreign guards.

The KaTropa acquired Fil-Am combo Simon Enciso from the Aces in a deal approved by the PBA yesterday.

In return, the PLDT franchise shipped Fil-Italian Mike Digregorio along with their 2023 2nd round draft pick to the Aces' fold.

Enciso played a solid season for Alaska, contributing 10.2 points spiked by a 33 percent clip from beyond the arc, to go with 3.8 assists.

He is expected to join forces with veteran playmaker Jayson Castro over at TNT, which continues its hunt for its first PBA title since the 2015 Commissioner's Cup after falling short in its campaign in the last two conferences in 2019.

For his part, Digregorio found himself in a new squad barely four months since joining the KaTropa. Digregorio started 2019 at Blackwater, posting 11.6 markers per outing spiked by 42 percent three-point marksmanship for the Elite before being shipped to TNT last October. He averaged 3.4 points in his brief stint with the KaTropa.

Digregorio looks to provide Alaska with his outside sniping while seeking to rediscover the fire that made him one of the main weapons of the Elite especially in last year's Commissioner's Cup where they got No. 3 seeding in the quarterfinals. (OL)
