Allen Durham, the reigning Best Import of the Conference awardee turned another exceptional week guiding the Meralco Bolts to a 2-0 record this week and clinching the top seed heading into the quarterfinals. The former Grace Bible College standout registered a triple double feat against undermanned Globalport last Fiday with 28 points, 22 rebounds and 10 assists. With Durham putting up big numbers, the Bolts are eyeing another finals appearance and a championship this time around.

The former Washington Wizard remains a reliable scoring option for TNT Katropa. Rice unloaded six 3-pointers en route to a 36 point outing to silence crowd favourite Barangay Ginebra last Saturday to earn their eighth win and the no.2 slot in the quarterfinals. He is expected to lead the Katropa once again versus a hungry Rain or Shine Elastopainters squad in their quarterfinal duel this coming Wednesday.

Kristofer Acox - Star Hotshots

19 pts 15 rebs 3 assts 2 stls 2 blks vs Kia (September 22)
14 pts 10 rebs 2 assts 2 stls vs NLEX (September 24)

He may not produce mind-blowing numbers but Kristofer Acox might be what the Star Hotshots need just in time for the playoffs. The former Furman University alumnus led the Hotshots to a 2-0 record this week and captured the fourth spot in standings. A face-off against the NLEX Road Warriors awaits him and this time with higher stakes involved.

JNathan Bullock - Rain or Shine Elastopainters

14 pts 4 rebs 1 asst 1 stl 5 vs Alaska (September 20)
30 pts 8 rebs 2 assts 1stl vs Blackwater (September 23)

After suffering a deflating loss against Ginebra last week, JNathan Bullock was ready to take over and lead Rain or Shine once again back to their winning ways. Bullock was on point last Saturday against Blackwater with a game-high 30 points and gain momentum for their quarterfinal matchup against TNT Katropa. The former Cleveland State product will have his hands full in a showdown with the prolific Glen Rice Jr.

Terrence Watson - San Miguel Beermen

26 pts 11 rebs 5 assts 3 blks 3 stls vs Phoenix (September 20)
18 pts 10 rebs 1 asst 1 stls 2 blks vs Meralco (September 24)

The Beermen's 4 game winning run was halted last Sunday by the Meralco Bolts but the energetic Terrence Watson remains solid for the grand slam seeking squad. Watson may not be the focal point of San Miguel's offense but the intangibles and energy he brings to every game is important especially as San Miguel faces a dangerous Barangay Ginebra San Miguel armed with a twice to beat advantage in the quarterfinal round.
