Alagang PBA donates 20 wheelchairs to Philippine Heart Center

The Philippine Basketball Association and its Alagang PBA partner Make A Wish Foundation donated 20 wheelchairs to the Philippine Heart Center during a break in the Gillette Gameday Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial and San Miguel Beer governor Robert Non led the turnover ceremony. Make a Wish Foundation is represented by health worker Maureen Braza.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Philippine Heart Center are Emilia Maralit and Hilda Abellar.

The PHC is the third recipient of the Alagang PBA-Make A Wish Foundation project. Recently, the Philippine General Hospital and the Lung Center of the Philippine also received 20 apiece.

The PHC, PGH and the LCP are among the 16 partner hospitals and foundations of the Make A Wish Foundation.

"Malaking tulong po ito," said Maralit, adding the wheelchairs will be used by the hospital's in and out patient.
