Hollis-Jefferson edges Brownlee for Govs' Cup coins.ph-Best Import award

RONDAE Hollis-Jefferson became the latest TNT reinforcement to win the coins.ph-PBA Best Import award.

The do-it-all Hollis-Jefferson beat out three-time winner Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra in winning the award named after the late great Bobby Parks.

The former NBA player tallied 1,147 points as he emerged no. 1 in statistics (619) and media votes (457), while emerging a close second in players' votes with 71.

Brownlee, 34, finished a close runner up with 966 points as he topped the players' votes with 76, but settled for second in statistics (570) and media votes (320).

Hollis-Jefferson, seeking his first ever championship as a pro, became the fifth import in TNT franchise history to win the honor after Silas Mills, Jerald Honeycutt, Rich Howell, and Terrence Jones.
