TnT 'back in the lab' for another round of bubble training

AFTER just a short respite, TnT Tropang Giga found themselves grinding again up North in Ilocos Norte.

Coach Chot Reyes and the rest of the team are back practicing in the Laoag bubble where they arrived early Monday morning after departing from Manila Sunday night.

Despite a little weary, the Tropang Giga didn't waste time as they immediately went to training at the Laoag Centennial Arena later in the afternoon.

"Back in the lab after an 8-hour bus ride," captioned Reyes in a video he uploaded on his Instagram.

"We sure miss the sound of the ball pounding wood," added the champion coach.

The Tropang Giga will again undergo camp for the next two weeks just like they did in their previous bubble training.

They actually wrapped up their first camp just last week and returned to Manila in the hopes the team can finally hold scrimmages at its regular training facility at the Moro Lorenzo gym.

But the GCQ (General Community Quarantine) with restrictions status remained fully implemented in the NCR Plus area, which meant team practices involving 5-on-5 games are still not allowed at least until June 15 when the government will again re-assessed the COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces.

Left with no option, the Tropang Giga decided to trek back in Laoag for another round of bubble training.

TnT opted to take a rest shortly upon completing their first training camp. (RG)
